Abstract
ABSTRACT: Poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac are well-known causes of plant-associated allergic contact dermatitis (ACD), but the spectrum of plant-associated dermatoses covers these and much more. Plant-associated dermatitis can be categorized into phytophotodermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis, contact urticaria, and ACD. The focus of this article is ACD: the frequent causes, patch testing, association with cosmetic products, and patient education.
