Abstract
This qualitative study provides insight into how nurse administrators in long-term care facilities make staffing decisions and the factors they consider when making those decisions. The Framework for Nurse Staffing in Long-term Care Facilities provides an evidenced-based framework for nurse administrators on how they can organize a comprehensive staffing program for their facility.
