Thanks so much for the article "Invisible Battle Scars," by Charlotte Davis, BSN, RN, CCRN; Lisa Lockhart, MHA, MSN, RN; Diane Kelton, BSN, RN; Wanda Williams, MSN, RN, FNP-BC; and Kandie Brothers, MSN, RN, CNL, in the November/December 2013 issue. As a veteran, I'm lucky to not suffer with these issues. Having said this, my husband and brother-in-law both do, which does hit home for me. I think there needs to be more articles written about the wounds our veterans live with daily-mentally, physically, and spiritually. Many Vietnam vets who once thought they had worked through their war experiences are now having them resurface. We owe them so much!
