Abstract
ABSTRACT: There are various skin diseases that coincide with pregnancy. There are a wide variety of pruritic skin diseases that can be seen in different trimesters of pregnancy.
This case discusses a rare skin disorder initially mistaken for tinea corporis. The patient is a 28-year-old pregnant, Caucasian woman, with spreading polymorphic lesions on her abdomen. Her obstetrician initially felt that she may have ringworm. She was referred to our clinic after failure with a topical antifungal for further evaluation and treatment.
