The Plastic Surgical Nursing Journal has had a facelift. At the Editorial Board meeting in San Diego, CA, last fall, it was discussed about the desire to update the journal design. Thank you to the creative department at PRRI for developing a professional, crisp, and branded cover for the journal.
We are excited to announce that we now have four new departments for the journal. This will provide articles that will cover a more diverse number of topics within the plastic surgery field of nursing. The department chair position is a 2-year term. We are still looking for a chair for the Reconstruction Department.
A sincere thank you to the following department chairs for 2014-2015:
Aesthetics-Jill Jones and Connie Brennan
Management-Nancy Radoslovich
Pediatrics Department-Linda Duffy
Pharmacology Department-Tracey Hotta
Risk Management-Wesley Cook
Skin Care-Barbara Dugas
What's New-Tracey Hotta
Wound Care-Marcia Spear and Valentina Lucas
If you have an article that you would like to submit for a department article, please contact me and I will send the information to the department chair.
