Abstract
Abstract: The application of gene therapy to human patients has grown tremendously in recent years. Study findings have allowed scientists to develop newer genomic approaches to managing patients with chronic diseases. Nurse practitioners must be prepared to collaborate with the medical community to provide patients support and essential education about gene therapy treatment.
