SteadMed Medical, Fort Worth, Texas, a provider of acute and chronic wound care products, has signed an agreement with PuriCore, Malvern, Pennsylvania, the water-based clean technology company, to market and distribute Vashe Wound Therapy. Available by prescription only, Vashe Wound Therapy is intended for use in cleansing, irrigating, moistening, and debriding acute and chronic dermal lesions, including Stage I-IV pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, postsurgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, abrasions, and minor irritations of the skin.
