I'm a postgraduate student of nursing at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. As a new graduate, I have a lot to learn. Reading as much of the literature as possible helps me to make a connection with advanced nursing knowledge outside of my country.
AJN is my favorite publication, and I have been particularly impressed with articles such as "Staffing Matters-Every Shift" (December 2012). We have the same (or even worse) problem in many areas of China.
"Men in Nursing" (January) really pressed my heart and left me feeling a little guilty, because several male classmates also majored in nursing, and I never cared or noticed the strain they experienced in fulfilling their roles.
I appreciate the fact that AJN greatly broadens my horizons.
