Abstract
Magnet(R) designation and redesignation efforts are time and resource intensive. The results of a survey of nurses' perceptions about 4 components of sustainability indicate differences between Magnet and non-Magnet hospitals. Evaluating nurses' perception of the sustainability of Magnet efforts will help nurse executives determine where to commit financial, time, and human resources.
