This month's cover photo depicts Occupy Wall Street protesters as they march into Zuccotti Park in New York City on October 5th. According to the movement's Web site (http://occupywallst.org), Occupy Wall Street is a "leaderless resistance movement" against corporate greed and corruption. Beginning with a demonstration in Liberty Square in New York's financial district, the movement now claims to have spread to over 100 cities internationally. We chose this photo as a symbol of the rise of grassroots movements this past year to protest unjust political regimes, social injustice, and economic inequalities.
