The article titled "Management of Hypertensive Emergency and Urgency" (Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal, Vol 33, issue 2) contained an error. At the bottom of page 129, column 1, the article stated that blood pressure is the product of heart rate and systemic vascular resistance. This is incorrect; the article should have read, "Blood pressure is the product of cardiac output and systemic vascular resistance. Drug therapy is directed toward correcting either cardiac output or systemic vascular resistance."
The authors would like to apologize for any confusion this may have caused and thank the reader who brought this to their attention.
