Symposium Features Multiple Learning Tracks
This year's 26th Annual Clinical Symposium on Skin & Wound Care will be held September 9-12, 2011, at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland, just minutes away from Washington, District of Columbia. As with previous events, this year's clinical symposium will join cutting-edge topics, wound care practitioners, industry leaders, and renowned thought and content leaders for stimulating educational sessions and vendor exhibits.
An exciting feature of this year's symposium is the addition of topic-focused tracks, which include "Pressure Ulcer Track," endorsed by the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel; "Treatment Track"; "Wound Care Team Track"; "Vascular Wound Track"; "Research Track"; "Diabetic Track," endorsed by the American Professional Wound Care Association; and "Atypical Wound Track." These specialized sessions complement a variety of general sessions, including some special guests, and a day of preconference workshops. In addition, the symposium will feature a dedicated hyperbaric program, aswell as host the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine's annual membership meeting (see Association News). Vendor exhibits, a poster networking session, awards ceremony, and more will give conference-goers a full and interesting schedule.
Watch for more detailed symposium and registration information in upcoming issues throughout 2011, and be sure to join us in National Harbor for another spectacular program. See you there!
