Abstract
This article outlines effective at-home therapies for burn care, both first aid and post-hospital. Therapies for reducing the need for grafts and pressure dressings are proposed. The practice of rubbing the burn wound is challenged. This article is based on the author's firsthand experiences and proposes that alternative therapies be introduced into the hospital and home setting.
