25th Annual Symposium Moves to Orlando
Because of the extensive damage caused by floodwaters throughout Nashville, Tennessee, the 25th Annual Clinical Symposium on Skin & Wound Care has relocated to the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Dates and session schedules have not changed. The silver anniversary event will be held September 30 to October 3, 2010. In addition to the Florida relocation, attendees can enjoy a room rate of $160/night, which is a drastically reduced fee.
A sampling of the scheduled topics include "Pediatric Skin Care Challenges," "Repositioning the Patient: Debunking the Q2-Hour Schedule," "Pain Management to Promote Wound Healing," "Skin Tears: An Underappreciated Wound," "Diabetic Foot Care: What We Can Do to Improve It," "Wound Irrigation, Cleansing, and Disinfection," and "Hyperbaric Oxygen: Is the Hype a Hoax or Is It Hope for Healing?"
After the educational sessions, conference-goers have the opportunity to explore a number of nearby attractions, including the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Sea World's Discovery Cove, and Universal Orlando. Plus, free shuttle service is available to the Disney parks, which are only 5 minutes away!

See you in Orlando!
