Regarding the article, "No More Mistaken Identity" (AJN Reports, February), nurses should indeed be proud to wear a universally recognized color. I've worn a white uniform in a variety of settings for my entire nursing career. No matter what the uniform trend, no one has ever doubted that I'm a nurse and not SpongeBob!
