Wisconsin CE Requirements for License Renewal

As a nurse in the state of Wiconsin, you are required to earn continuing education to renew your active license if you are an advanced practice nurse prescriber. All of our CE activities are accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). 

Renewal Requirements

Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber

• Every two years
  • 16 hours of continuing education in clinical pharmacology or therapeutics relevant to the advanced practice nurse prescriber's area of practice, including at least 2 contact hours in responsible prescribing of controlled substances
