Mississippi CE Requirements for License Renewal
As a nurse in the state of Mississippi, you are required to earn continuing education to renew your active license. All of our CE activities are accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Renewal Requirements
RN
- If RN has been out of practice for more than 5 years:
- 20 hours of continuing education in the previous 2 years prior to application
LPN
- If LPN has been out of practice for more than 5 years:
- 20 hours of continuing education in the previous 2 years prior to application
APRN
- Every two years
- 5 hours of continuing education specific to controlled substances
