The goal of this presentation will be to familiarize the attendees with the technology of cholangioscopy and its use in the endoscopic diagnosis and management of diseases of the biliary tree and pancreas. This will be accomplished by presenting an overview of biliary and pancreatic diseases, review ingthe standard approaches to diagnosis and management of those diseases, elucidating the technology of cholangioscopy, and reviewing the specific ways in which cholangioscopy can change and improve the diagnosis and management of those diseases. Slides, graphics, and video demonstrations will be incorporated into the lecture.
