Abstract

The preceptorship-to-hire program was developed to facilitate nursing students' transition from academia to professional practice, fill vacancies in the practice partner's workforce with highly qualified RNs, and reduce the turnover rate among newly licensed RNs. Part 2 of this article presents program outcomes.
