In volume 25, issue 4 of Journal of Hospice & Palliative Nursing in the article titled, "Development and Effectiveness of an End-of-Life Care Program for Faculty in the Critical Care Field: A Randomized Controlled Trial" by Tamura et al. incorrect data was presented in the article. Participants of the study included 90 college teaching staff and nurses working in the critical care field, rather than 82 that was originally published. This affects the percentage data regarding the 39 members of the control group that were analyzed. The correct percentage is 84.8%, rather than 88.6%. Abstract
Participants were 90 college teaching staff and nurses working in the critical care field. Six months after the program, data of 37 members (84.1%) of the intervention and 39 members (84.8%) of the control group were analyzed.
Setting and Participant Recruitment
Participants were 90 college teaching staff and nurses work-ing in the critical care field.
Participant Enrollment
All 90 participants provided written consent after receiving a written explanation of the study in an informed consent form that had been approved by the ethics review board.
Baseline Participant Characteristics
Six months after the program, data of 37 members (84.1%) of the intervention group and 39 members (84.8%) of the control group were ana-lyzed (Figure 1).
