Due to a source that was not available electronically, there is an incorrect reference listed in the linked editorial. The correct reference is:

Jackson-Scarlett, J. (2017). It is written: The journal of the nurse practitioner programme in Jamaica. In: Honoring our past, embracing our future: Jamaica nurse practitioners 40th anniversary 1977-2017.

In addition, this reference should have been cited as (Jackson-Scarlett, 2017) in the Historical Highlights section of the editorial for information related to the proposal of the NP role, description of the initial training program, barriers to practice, curriculum revision, and the 2014 working group.
