"Increasing Patient Access to Medical Cannabis Requires Federal Legislation" (Viewpoint, July) sums it up well: our patients are using cannabis and we need to be ready to help them use it safely and effectively. We can no longer turn a blind eye to the fact that cannabis can be a valuable option for many, including oncology and palliative medicine patients.
