I've worked at several levels of nursing, but the bedside is my passion. We should be investing in our new graduates. They should be taught the importance of and the gratification that comes with patient care-we should not be driving them to the next level so soon. Without a strong foundation of nurses, hospitals will not function or provide excellent care; without excellent care, patients will go somewhere else.
