The leading annual event with the latest nutrition research will reunite the nutrition community in July 2023

 

The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) has officially announced that its annual meeting, NUTRITION 2023, will take place in Boston, Massachusetts, July 22-25, 2023. NUTRITION 2023 is the premier meeting for the nutrition community, exploring developments in clinical and translational nutrition, food science and systems, diet and disease, basic science, global health, and more. The ASN welcomes the submission of original research in the form of abstracts for presentation at NUTRITION 2023. Accepted abstracts will be presented in poster and oral sessions.

 

* Share your research with the greatest minds in nutrition science

 

* Publish your work in an ASN journal

 

* Become eligible for abstract-based Award Competitions and Awards

 

* Network with peers in academia, industry, and government

 

 

Abstracts can include the following:

 

* New research: Unpublished, original research and/or secondary analysis of data

 

* Methods: Newly established or characterized methods, or evaluations of existing methods

 

* Protocols: Descriptions of proposed studies, or recruitment and process results of newly started studies

 

* Case study vignette: A clinical vignette or case report is a means of disseminating new knowledge gained from clinical practice

ADDRESSING AMERICA'S HUNGER, NUTRITION, AND HEALTH CRISIS: THE WHITE HOUSE CONFERENCE AND NATIONAL STRATEGY TO DRIVE TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE TO END HUNGER AND REDUCE DIET-RELATED DISEASES AND DISPARITIES

It was an honor for the ASN to be invited to participate in the September 28, 2022, White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. A more in-depth look at the conference and National Strategy has been shortly will be published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. The 2022 Conference, along with the release of the Biden-Harris Administration's National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, outlined President Biden's bold and ambitious goal: to end hunger and increase healthy eating and physical activity by 2030 so fewer Americans experience diet-related diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, and hypertension, while reducing health disparities. Critical Care Nutrition
