American Red Cross (ARC)

Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB)

Founded in 1948, the AABB is a community of healthcare professionals dedicated to making transfusion medicine and cellular therapies safe, effective, and widely accessible. The AABB offers educational programs and organizes advocacy efforts to promote blood sustainability; patient and donor safety; coverage and reimbursement of patients' access to blood products, transfusion services, and cellular therapies; among many other initiatives.

With over 120 donation centers across the US, Vitalant unites blood donors, recipients, and healthcare innovation to help save lives. It hosts around 60,000 blood drives annually and offers the latest information and technology for transfusion medicine.

America's Blood Centers (ABC)

ABC collaborates with independent blood centers and other blood service organizations to promote access to a safe and sustainable blood supply. Its programs, such as "Vein to Vein: The Science of Blood Donation" for high school students, promote education and advocacy for public policies to increase the nation's blood supply and spur innovative, evidence-based solutions related to health and safety.
