As we continue to navigate the pandemic and our priority is safety for all our participants, the Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC) conference will still be online and we are feeling fine about it! To all WOC nurses, Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOCs), RNs, licensed practical nurses/registered practical nurses, industry partners, and allied health care professionals from the United States, Canada, and around the world, we are excited to officially invite you to participate in our 41st National Conference this spring from May 25-28, 2022. Under the leadership of Mary Hill, MN, BScN, RN, WOCC(C), the NSWOCC National Conference Planning Core Program has developed a leading-edge educational program featuring case-based learning with national and international subject matter experts in the areas of WOC and leadership.

New to our educational programming for 2022 is an industry and science day. This day will feature industry-sponsored sessions that demonstrate the latest in products and technology through a scientific and evidence-based case approach to education.

This year's educational program will be showcasing NSWOCC core programs and volunteers who have been very productive in the last year developing best practice recommendations, position statements, and quick reference guides to provide guidance and direction to our members, health care professionals, and health care organizations. You will not want to miss these presentations featuring the Urinary Diversions Position Statement, Paediatric Incontinence Associated Dermatitis Best Practice Recommendations, Quick Reference Guide for Debridement, Parastomal Hernia Best Practice Recommendations, and the Indigenous Wound Ostomy Continence Health Core program.

The Canadian health care system is provincially run and varies significantly from province to province. Funding and health care services are allocated differently depending on the province, and each provide different services and programs that can lead to restrictions and challenges to the NSWOC clinical practice. Join us for a panel discussion including NSWOCs across Canada deliberating how NSWOCs navigate their own provincial health systems and the challenges and benefits in providing care to their patients. In response to the changes in ownership and management of the Braden Scale, the newly formed Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (CPIAP) will be presenting a session on Beyond the Braden Scale: Classification of Pressure Injury in 2022. These are just a few of the exciting sessions and there is so much more!

Conference registrants will not want to miss out on the Friday evening networking event with a fun and interactive foodie session "Building a Charcuterie Board." Meet with your colleagues and other health care professionals, while styling your unique charcuterie board.
