In 2021, The Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA) entered our 51st year of publication. As one of the most highly regarded nursing leadership journals in the world, I do not take the responsibility as Editor-in-Chief lightly. Like any great organization, the success of JONA is the strength of the team. I would like to recognize our peer reviewers and Editorial Board members who have gone above and beyond in another stressful year to help provide guidance and feedback to me and to the authors who submitted their manuscripts to JONA. Nurses and interdisciplinary teams continue to do important research, even during times of pandemic stress and disseminating their work enables others to build upon their findings. In the past year, JONA has received more than 400 submissions from across the globe. The expert peer reviewers who volunteer their time are listed below. Our Editorial Board members are listed on the masthead of each edition. At this time of the year when we consider thankfulness and blessings, these individuals are among mine.
Happy holidays and prayers for a peaceful and healthy 2022.
Sincerely,
Karen S. Hill, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, LFACHE, FAAN
