In the changing healthcare climate, a robust continuous professional development program is critical to ensure excellent patient care and the best outcomes. It is essential for educators and leaders to understand the factors that enhance the impact of continuous professional development. Organizational leadership must support successful education programs and the ability to provide educational activities. In this month's Magnet(R) Perspectives, we will review how the Institute of Medicine and Quadruple Aim framework can support structural empowerment through continuous professional development to improve outcomes.
