Thank you for your editorial and for having the courage to say what so sorely needs to be said. I'm sure it wasn't a decision made lightly, as some health care professionals-including nurses-will not agree with your comments. But if the nursing profession and our governing bodies and organizations don't stand up for what is right and so very important in this moment, then all our words, standards, and ethics mean nothing.
