Abstract
ABSTRACT: Observations from research on the spiritual lives of persons caring for their spouses with dementia provide insight into the spirituality of caregivers. The author relates her personal journey of spirituality with findings from narratives of caregivers and the results of grace, joy, and trust. The lived experiences of caregivers who express faith in Jesus enable them to rest and love amid their caregiving. These insights can be useful when applied to nursing care and nursing education.
