The Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association is pleased to announce that their official publication,The Journal of Hospice and Palliative Nursing, has both a new Editor and Publisher. Leslie H. Nicoll, PhD, MBA, RN was appointed Editor-in-Chief on July 1, 2001, concurrent with the announcement that Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins will assume publication responsibility with Volume 4, Issue 1. The journal will be re-launched with this issue, scheduled for publication in the first quarter of 2002.

With the re-launch, The Journal of Hospice and Palliative Nursing will have a totally new design and several new features. The Editor-in-Chief is actively recruiting nurses with expertise in hospice and palliative nursing to serve as authors, manuscript reviewers, and editorial board members.
