Wound Care Shoe System. This custom off-loading shoe system is designed for the treatment of open and closed foot ulcerations. The shoe incorporates a system of multidensity insoles that may be cut or altered to off-load weight and pressure from the ulcer. The insoles are contained within the semirigid rocker sole and are surrounded by a circumferential counter to prevent them from slipping. The rocker sole assists in ambulation while reducing friction and pressure from vulnerable areas of the foot.
