"Chaos" is a great follow-up to recent studies that show the effects of poor nurse staffing levels on patients; most notably, the study published in the October 23 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, written by Linda Aiken and colleagues and entitled "Hospital Nurse Staffing and Patient Mortality, Nurse Burnout, and Job Dissatisfaction." I hope the general public has a chance to read it.
