I appreciated your May editorial on family-centered care. I have 14 years of NICU experience, but in the last year I've begun to think about and embrace the concept of including the family in everything that we do.

A team from our NICU attended the last Family-Centered Care conference and we are instituting multiple changes to make our unit more family-friendly on a variety of levels. It's such a simple concept, yet directly impacts all aspects of patient care.
