In the 9/10/10 issue, in the article "HBV Screening in Cancer Patients," information about one of the studies was incorrect. The article should have read: "A retrospective study presented by Jessica Hwang, MD, MPH, of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center of 11,212 adult patients who received chemotherapy found that 18% of patients were screened for hepatitis B antigen (HBsAg), of which 2% were positive, and 17% of patients were screened for the core antibody (anti-HBc), of which 8% were positive."
The changes have now been made in the online version of the article.
