INTRODUCING NANN'S NEW WEB SITE
Have you looked at http://www.nann.org recently? In the beginning of March, NANN unveiled a new association Web site. The site features an updated layout and design that allows members to easily navigate and explore content and includes a new drop-down menu that organizes information into the following categories: about, membership, education and research, professional development, industry support, and publications. Important topics, such as membership, the annual conference, and advocacy, occupy prime real estate on the homepage, making it easy for members to find what they are looking for with the fewest number of clicks. If you encounter difficulty finding what you need, the site boasts a new and improved search function to help locate relevant content. NANN will analyze search terms on an ongoing basis to ensure the Web site features content that is appropriate and of interest to our members.

For the most timely and current news affecting neonatal nurses and our patients, check out "What's New?" which gives members easy access to trending topics, such as NANN's first annual virtual lobby week, information on Zika virus, and the latest educational opportunities. There is a link to the 2 latest CNENow! modules: "The Management of Human Milk in the NICU" and "Improving Outcomes With Colostrum Human Milk-Evidence Guide to Practice." These modules are available in the NANN store and are free for NANN members!

JOIN US AT NANN'S 32nd ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE
The 32nd Annual Educational Conference is right around the corner! The conference will be held in Palm Springs, California, Wednesday, October 26-Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Renaissance Palm Springs and Palm Springs Convention Center. The Conference Planning Committee is working hard to ensure our members not only experience phenomenal educational and networking opportunities but also have a lot of fun in the desert. This year's topics include neonatal abstinence syndrome, donor human milk, long-term cardiac care, palliative care, skin care, and pharmacology, among others.
INTERNATIONAL NEONATAL CONSORTIUM: SEARCHING FOR SAFE, EFFECTIVE THERAPIES FOR NEWBORNS
The International Neonatal Consortium (INC), which was hosted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Silver Spring, Maryland, met in early March. The aim of the consortium is to accelerate the development of safe, effective therapies for newborns. Regulators from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, European Medicines Agency, Health Canada, and the FDA gathered to discuss these therapies with international academic experts, interested companies, neonatal nursing organizations, National Institutes of Health institutes, patient groups, and nonprofit organizations. NANN's representative at the meeting was Dr Wakako Eklund, who also spoke at the event.
