Abstract
* A new therapy-Zepatier, a combination of elbasvir and grazoprevir-is available to treat infections with hepatitis C virus genotypes 1 and 4 in adults.
* The drug's most common adverse effects are fatigue, headache, and nausea. When it is coadministered with ribavirin, the most common adverse effects are anemia and headache. Highly elevated liver enzyme levels are also possible.
