Abstract
The Lancet published a series of articles addressing the continued challenge to meet health priorities related to breastfeeding because of commercial interests. Our guest columnist, Dr. Svenson, summarizes the series including the failure to meet breastfeeding recommendations as an ongoing challenge to maternal-child health often attributed to influence of the commercial milk formula companies.
