Abstract

I'm fresh out of nursing school and very excited that I've just signed a contract for my first position. My supervisor told me I can choose whether or not to join the nurses' union at this facility. I don't know much about unions—I hear some good and some bad about them—and don't want to make a choice I'll regret. What do you recommend? If anyone sued me, would being a union member help me?
