The NINR seeks input for research goals. The National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) is seeking input for its strategic plan for research goals for 2022-2026. In November 2020, the NINR established a working group of experts to "identify strengths, limitations, challenges, and opportunities in nursing science and provide recommendations" for the new plan. The group identified three overarching strategic goals: focus on dismantling structures that perpetuate racism and impede health equity, develop interventions to address the social determinants of health, and advance precision health and health care across the life span. The NINR will complete a draft document using the feedback it receives and post it for public comment later this year.
