In the July/September 2019 issue of The Health Care Manager in the article by Ruley and Coustasse, "Prenatal Opioid Maintenance in the United States and Its Effect on Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome: The Case of West Virginia's Opioid Epidemic," the first line of the abstract was incorrect. It should have read: "In 2017, West Virginia's opioid epidemic was the cause of about 1000 deaths."

The authors regret the error.
