If anyone deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, it's Greg Mortenson, the subject of your editorial, "Changing the World...One Person at a Time" (December 2009).* I read his book, Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Fight Terrorism and Build Nations-One School at a Time, and was profoundly moved by his mission and vision to build schools, primarily for girls, in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Shortly after I read his book, he came to Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, to give a talk. I couldn't believe his humility and dedication. By coincidence, just this morning I heard him on National Public Radio and what he said only increased my admiration for him.
