Alzheimer's Care Today: Best Practices in Dementia Care welcomes the submission of manuscripts that address best practices in dementia care. We are currently seeking submissions that fit into one of the following sections.

 

RESEARCH ARTICLES

Qualitative and quantitative manuscripts that present original research on practices or policies related to Alzheimer's disease and best practices in dementia care. The desired page limit is 25 to 35 pages.

 

BEST PRACTICES

Original presentations of policies or practices that provide meaningful advancements to dementia care. These manuscripts must connect the targeted strategy or practice to a theoretical base and provide explicit discussion that reflects the most up-to-date information about Alzheimer's disease and memory impairment. Manuscripts that address issues of quality diagnostic evaluations, latest treatment options, care management, psychosocial support, and education are appropriate. The desired page limit is 10 to 20 pages.

 

PERSONAL PERSPECTIVES

Original manuscripts that present the unique and personal perspective of living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease. The desired page limit is 3 to 10 pages.
