Abstract
The Alzheimer's Association Dementia Care Practice Recommendations for Assisted Living Residences and Nursing Homes: Phase 3 End-of-Live Care was released recently. This article offers discussion and identifies tools for putting the recommendations into practice. It describes a hypothetical approach to implementation and offers ideas on key issues and additional resources that provide guidance on end-of-life care for persons with dementia.
