I just received my first two issues of Men in Nursing, and I must say I'm very impressed with the overall breadth and depth of quality in the publication. This journal further reinforces my belief that men fill a special place in nursing and bring unique and special talents to bear. It is imperative that we make our voices heard in every forum possible. In many ways, our healthcare system is severely broken and will only be fixed if each of us as professionals assumes responsibility for being part of the fix. This journal is a step in that direction. There are many good things happening in nursing and this journal is proof positive.
