It consists of 3-, 7-, and 15-mL polyethylene vials, manufactured from a special zinc stearate-free resin. This plastic minimizes the risk of particulate forming in solution with certain ophthalmic preparations. The company packages the bottles, tips, and caps in blisters of 2's rather than 12's or 20's, so nurses can prepare the amount they need. Healthcare workers don't have to expose or use 12 or 20 bottles when they only need to make a few solutions.
