As a member of Hadassah's Nursing Council, I was pleased to read "The Hospital as Sanctuary" (Viewpoint, July). Both Arab and Jewish students are admitted to Hadassah-Hebrew University's nursing program; after graduation they work side by side as nurses and receive promotions, based on their abilities, at both of the Hadassah hospitals in Jerusalem.
