The obituary of Mildred Montag that appeared in December 2005 (Profiles) stated that she founded the associate-degree nursing program at Adelphi University (formerly Adelphi College) in 1943. It should have also stated that she founded a baccalaureate-degree program at Adelphi University, as well.
