I loved the editorial "Civil Civic Dialogue" (Editorial, June, and Letters, September). Unfortunately, uncivil behavior seems to have become the norm in our society. My faculty colleagues and I often disagreed, but we made our points in front of students so they could see that people can discuss an issue rationally, disagree, and still show respect.
