Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is perhaps the most technically challenging of all gastroenterology endoscopy procedures and the most feared by new staff assigned to assist. This session will help the nurse manager or educator develop tools and competencies to train and evaluate their staff for "stress free" endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography procedures. Information will include an overview of lab values, biliary disease, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography equipment use and function.
